Cetella Asiatica Extract - aka Cica, Tiger Grass Extract

Posted by Sandy Hippo on

Cetella Asiatica is also known as

  • gotu kola
  • Indian pennywort
  • tiger grass
  • cica

It's a centuries-old herb that was traditionally used in Chinese medicine to treat wounds.

Studies have shown that the main components of Centella Asiatic increase collagen synthesis and improve the skin's tensile strength.

The extract is rich in amino acids, beta carotene, fatty acids, and numerous potent phyto-chemicals. It have been found to calm inflammation, speed wound healing, stimulate new cell growth, build collagen, and improve circulation.

We developed this Centella Cica solution in a very light weight texture, in between cream and serum, to soothe skin's irritation. If your skin experiences damage due to sun exposure, overdone by acid peels and skin thinning, this cream-serum works really well to repair by restoring the acid mantle of the skin.

It's also formulated with acne healing Tamanu Oil and Hemp Seed Oil. Colorant-free as we like to leave our product on it's natural way. The natural greenish hue comes from the high percentage of Centella extract!

Love,
Sandy and Hippo
