Laurel Berry Oil (Aleppo) Soap

Our Laurel Berry Oil soap is inspired by Aleppo soap made in Aleppo, Syria, which is one of the oldest soap recipes known to mankind. Since thousands of years ago, Aleppo soap had been used as the natural remedy to help with a number of skin conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other dermatitis types. 

Aleppo soap is made of only 2 luxurious oils: extra virgin olive oil and laurel berry oil. We source these 2 ingredients the best we could in California to re-create this gentle soap for everyday use. The same procedure was followed in the making of the soap: let the extra virgin olive oil saponified with caustic soda first, then the precious laurel berry oil was added into the mixture in the final step before pouring into the soap molds.

This bar creates fine lather that gently cleanses the skin, while preserving its natural moisture balance. The pure plant-based ingredients are ultra gentle and suitable for all skin types.
