Can I use Retinol and Acids together ?

Retinol vs. AHA / BHA
Since Retinol and Alpha Hydroxy Acids / Beta Hydroxy Acid are both skin exfoliators, we suggest not to mix them together in one routine. However you may use them separately on different days.

AHA - fruit acids, glycolic acid, lactic acid
BHA - salicylic acid
Retinol - vitamin A derivatives including retin-A, retinly palmitate

If you use 2 very strong exfoliators in one skin care routine, your skin may get sensitive or drier with flakiness since it has been over-peeled. The best way to reverse the damage - is to stop using exfoliator for a week and only use nourishing face oil / face cream to repair it. We recommend using The Repair Cream and any of our face oils for skin's sensitivity.

Retinol vs. Hyaluronic Acid
It's fine to use Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid together since Hyaluronic Acid is actually a humectant rather than an exfoliator.
