Sea Kelp Bioferment is a jelly-type kelp extract derived from the fermentation of sea kelp by using a bacteria.
Sea Kelp is a very popular super food in East Asia. When this seaweed is cooked properly, it's tender, soft with tiny bits of chewiness and the consistency of the collagen broth. Sea Kelp is a natural source of vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D and E, as well as minerals including zinc, iodine, magnesium, iron, potassium, copper and calcium. In fact it contains the highest natural concentration of calcium of any food - 10 times more than milk!
Sea Kelp Bioferment provides various nutrients and long-lasting hydration to our skin when it's applied topically. It is known to reduce the appearance of breakouts. We use Sea Kelp generously in many of our formulas since it's a versatile and beneficial ingredients.
